On February 13, 2025, Attorney Kian Magana secured a reduced charge for a client facing a charge for Driving Under the Influence in the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Kian’s client was alleged to have been pulled over for driving at approximately 85 miles per hour on the freeway. When tested, his BAC was measured at .20% in the field as part of a Preliminary Alcohol Screening (“PAS”), and .15% back at the police station pursuant to an EC/IR-II Breath Test machine.
After substantial negotiations with the prosecutor’s office, Kian was able to secure a reduced charge for his client. Instead of a DUI, his client was given a “Wet Reckless” as part of a plea deal – as a result, Kian’s client was able to keep his driver’s license, and did not have to be on probation for three years.
